# Senior Sales and Operations Planning Analyst

**Rohlik** · Prague, Czech Republic

Apply: https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/rohlik/5ef5b3ef-228d-4035-b4a3-9348341b1939

## About the role

At **Rohlik**, IBP and S&OP are not just planning routines—they are the backbone of how we run efficient operations, optimize resources, and scale sustainably.
We're looking for a **Senior Sales and Operations Planning Analyst** who will work closely with our Supply Chain leadership and help build our end-to-end forecasting function from the ground up. This is a highly hands-on, builder role for someone who thrives on business partnering, deep-dive analytics, challenging manual processes, and turning raw data into decision-ready insights across all our European markets. **To be clear on scope: this role owns the order- and revenue-level demand forecast that feeds the S&OP cycle — not SKU-level demand planning, which sits with the Supply Chain team.**

#####

##### Why This Role Is Exciting

- Build from the Ground Up: You won't just execute a process someone else built—you are one of the founding members of a brand-new department, giving you a direct hand in shaping the future of Supply Chain at Rohlik.

- Direct Business Impact: Your forecasts directly dictate inventory levels, labor scheduling, and delivery capacity across 5 countries and 12 fulfillment centers.

- Automation & Ownership: You have the autonomy and mandate to kill manual spreadsheets. If a process is repetitive, you get to spearhead its automation alongside our BI and Engineering teams.

- High-Growth E-Commerce Environment: Work in a fast-paced, high-velocity e-commerce and grocery ecosystem where data-driven decisions directly affect daily operations and customer satisfaction.

##### What You'll Do

- Demand Forecasting: Own the daily and weekly production of the group demand forecast (orders, SKU/order, and intraday shapes) across all markets, fulfillment centers, and planning horizons.

- Accuracy & Bias Ownership: Drive forecast accuracy and bias performance by market and horizon (target: 98% accuracy at order/revenue level); conduct deep-dive root-cause analyses on deviations and implement corrective actions.

- S&OP Core Analysis: Build and own the demand review pack and scenario models for the S&OP cycle, including quantified upside and downside cases.

- Operational Alignment: Translate agreed demand into actionable inventory, warehouse workload, labor, throughput, and delivery requirements for operating functions.

- Automation & Optimization: Proactively drive the automation of manual routines (e.g., mass-upload/locking for SKU edits, demand-chaser redesigns, automated AOV forecasting) instead of working around system gaps.

- Executive Decision Support: Prepare daily and weekly data, analysis, and options that feed into executive updates and S&OP governance rituals.

- Peaks & Campaigns: Lead forecasting prep for campaigns, seasonal transitions, and peak events, ensuring every manual adjustment is documented with clear assumptions and rationale.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with market planners, Category, Marketing, Fulfillment, Last Mile, and BI teams to collect quantified inputs on time and keep planning data trustworthy.

- Governance & Resilience: Actively identify and flag process gaps (single points of failure, missing notifications, undocumented calls) to make the department increasingly resilient over time.

##### What We're Looking For

**Required:**

- 3+ years of experience in Demand Planning, Forecasting, Supply Chain Planning, or Business Analytics.

- Hands-on ownership of a recurring forecast within a high-velocity retail, e-commerce, logistics, or operational environment.

- Advanced command of forecasting methodologies, scenario modeling, and forecast accuracy metrics.

- Strong analytical stack: advanced spreadsheet modeling and SQL (or equivalent) to query large data sets independently.

- Ability to specify tooling improvements and drive automation alongside engineering/BI teams.

- Working knowledge of BI and visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar).

- Proven ability to enforce standards and deadlines across multiple markets while clearly communicating analytic insights to non-technical stakeholders.

- Fluent English**Preferred:**

- Background in online grocery or fresh/perishable goods retail.

- Prior exposure to an established S&OP / IBP cycle.

- Experience converting demand forecasts into labor, fulfillment, or transport requirements.

- Scripting or automation experience (Python or similar) beyond standard spreadsheets.

- Knowledge of Czech or Slovak is a plus.

##### KPI's typical for the position

- Forecast accuracy: meets or exceeds the accuracy target for each market and planning horizon (target 98%).

- Forecast bias: held within agreed tolerance, no persistent directional bias by market.

- Peak and campaign accuracy: accuracy during campaigns, seasonal peaks and exceptional events stays within the agreed deviation band.

- Input timeliness: 100% of forecast inputs and the demand review pack delivered on the S&OP calendar.

- Adjustment traceability: every manual adjustment carries a documented assumption, rationale and owner.

- Automation contribution: measurable reduction, quarter over quarter, in manual/one-by-one process steps you own.

- Deviation follow-through: root-cause analysis completed and corrective action proposed for every material deviation.
