## About the role

As a **Shipping and Receiving Clerk**, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth movement of materials in and out of our facility. You will be responsible for verifying, packaging, labeling, and tracking shipments with precision — supporting both our production teams and customers by maintaining accuracy and timeliness in every transaction.

##### Key Responsibilities

- Receive incoming materials, components, and finished goods; verify quantities and part numbers against packing lists and purchase orders.

- Inspect incoming materials for visible damage or discrepancies; escalate issues to Materials or Quality teams as needed.

- Accurately log receipts into the ERP/MRP system and deliver materials to appropriate departments.

- Prepare and package finished PCB assemblies and components for shipment per customer or internal requirements (ESD-safe handling, labeling, and documentation).

- Generate shipping labels and documentation using FedEx, UPS, and customer-specified portals.

- Schedule carrier pickups and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery.

- Maintain an organized shipping and receiving area, ensuring materials are properly identified and stored.

- Support cycle counts, inventory audits, and material movement transactions as needed.

- Coordinate with production control, purchasing, and quality to resolve shipping/receiving issues quickly and accurately.

##### Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree preferred.

- 1+ year of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations (preferably in an electronics or manufacturing environment).

- Familiarity with ESD handling, barcoding, and labeling standards for electronic assemblies.

- Experience using FedEx Ship Manager, UPS WorldShip, or similar platforms.

- Proficiency with basic computer applications (Excel, Word, email) and ERP systems (experience with manufacturing software a plus).

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment.

- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Pay Range$18—$22 USD**ITAR/EAR Compliance:** Due to the nature of the work performed at Rocket EMS, this position may require access to export-controlled technical data or technology. The successful candidate must be eligible to access such information under applicable U.S. export-control laws or be eligible for any required government authorization.
