##### Miscellaneous Metals Installation Foreman

**Job Type:** Direct Hire
**Pay:** Starting at $32/hour — higher depending on experience
**Location:** Candidates should be based near Georgetown, DE; Sterling, VA; Baltimore, MD; or Washington, DC
**Company Vehicle:** Truck and gas card provided

##### Position Summary

Seeking an experienced field foreman to lead crews installing **stairs, railings, and miscellaneous metalwork** at construction sites. This position oversees daily field operations, crew coordination, installation quality, and job-site safety while working with general contractors and project teams.

##### Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate field crews performing miscellaneous metals installation.

- Lead installation of stairs, railings, and related metal components.

- Coordinate daily work activities with the General Contractor.

- Review blueprints and verify proper layout, measurements, and installation.

- Plan crew assignments and coordinate materials, tools, and equipment.

- Confirm required crew certifications and ensure site requirements are followed.

- Enforce PPE requirements and project-specific safety procedures.

- Conduct or participate in toolbox talks and daily safety discussions.

- Complete required field and vehicle inspection reports.

- Inspect and maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles.

- Monitor workmanship and address installation or job-site issues.

- Serve as the field safety point of contact for the crew.

##### Requirements

- 5+ years of experience in miscellaneous metals preferred.

- Previous foreman or crew-supervision experience strongly preferred.

- Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and safety documentation.

- Strong measurement and basic math skills, including working with angles and degrees.

- Working knowledge of AWS D1.1.

- Familiarity with welding processes including:

SMAW

- FCAW

- GMAW

- GTAW

- Current welding certifications or ability to successfully pass a weld test.

- Strong commitment to job-site safety, quality, and teamwork.
