## About Pico

Pico delivers analytics, trading software, market data, and connectivity for exchanges, banks, and brokers: 55+ data centers, 900+ venues, 24/7 support.

## About the role

Pico fuels the global capital markets community by providing exceptional market data services and customized managed infrastructure solutions. As financial industry experts at the center of markets and technology, we help our clients efficiently scale their business and quickly access markets. From infrastructure to connectivity, we support our clients through the full trading lifecycle. We are a global company headquartered in New York, with offices in Chicago, London, Singapore, Hong Kong and Tokyo.

We are seeking an experienced Contract Technical Recruiter to join Pico for an initial six-month period and support the build-out of our team in India. Working closely with India-based and global hiring managers, business leaders and HR colleagues, you will manage end-to-end recruitment for priority technical and business-critical roles. The role will focus on developing India-specific sourcing strategies, engaging specialist talent, managing efficient recruitment processes and providing practical market intelligence. You may also support selected hiring requirements across the wider APAC region, depending on business priorities. This opportunity would suit a delivery-focused recruiter who understands the India technology talent market, can establish credibility quickly with senior stakeholders and is comfortable operating autonomously in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Recruitment Delivery **

- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for approved permanent and contract vacancies, with India as the primary focus.

- Partner with hiring managers to clarify role requirements, define selection criteria and agree practical recruitment strategies.

- Develop and publish engaging, inclusive and market-relevant job advertisements.

- Create tailored sourcing strategies for technical, specialist and hard-to-fill positions using professional networks, referrals, talent communities and relevant platforms.

- Screen applicants and conduct structured candidate assessments to evaluate skills, experience and role alignment.

- Manage interview processes, including coordination, stakeholder communication, timely feedback and candidate updates.

- Support offer management, candidate engagement and joining-risk management through to the start date.

- Maintain accurate and timely records within our applicant tracking system.

**India talent market and pipeline development **

- Map relevant India talent pools, target organisations, technical communities and specialist skill areas.

- Build proactive talent pipelines aligned with current vacancies and anticipated hiring needs.

- Provide practical market intelligence on talent availability, candidate expectations, notice periods and recruitment risks.

- Develop reusable talent maps and pipelines that will support the longer-term growth of the India team.

- Promote professional, inclusive and responsive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

**Skills & Experience:**

**Essential**

- Proven experience delivering end-to-end technical recruitment in India.

- Strong knowledge of the India technology talent market, sourcing channels and candidate landscape.

- Experience recruiting across relevant technical disciplines, such as software engineering, infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, cloud or technical operations.

- Strong direct-sourcing, market-mapping and proactive talent-engagement capability.

- Experience managing candidates from initial engagement through assessment, offer acceptance and joining.

- Ability to advise hiring managers on role definition, talent availability and recruitment strategy.

- Credibility and confidence when partnering with senior and geographically dispersed stakeholders.

- Ability to operate independently, manage multiple priorities and deliver at pace in an evolving environment.

- Experience using applicant tracking systems and recruitment metrics to monitor delivery and identify risks.

- Excellent communication, relationship-building and organisational skills.

**Desirable**

- Experience supporting rapid growth, a new office or a significant team build-out in India.

- Background recruiting within fintech, capital markets, financial services, SaaS, managed infrastructure or a related technology environment.

- Experience working within a global or matrixed organisation.

- Experience developing recruitment processes, talent maps or sustainable pipelines for an expanding business.

- A combination of in-house, RPO, embedded or specialist agency recruitment experience.

- Experience supporting selected hiring requirements across wider APAC markets.

**What success looks like **

- Delivery against the agreed India hiring plan and priorities.

- Timely, qualified shortlists for priority vacancies.

- Clear visibility of recruitment progress, risks and bottlenecks.

- Professional and responsive communication with candidates and hiring managers.

- Effective management of offer acceptance and joining risks.

- Reduced reliance on external recruitment agencies where practical.

- Sustainable India talent pipelines and market maps that can be used by the future team.

- Accurate, disciplined use of the applicant tracking system and recruitment data.

**What We’re Looking For**

We welcome candidates from a variety of backgrounds who are passionate about connecting talented people with meaningful career opportunities.
