This is a highly hands-on, delivery-focused role centred on building, testing, and deploying workflow and document-automation solutions on the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, and Copilot Studio) together with SharePoint. The initial focus is the HIPD Star Rated Items workflow — a multi-stage process spanning vendor submission (FormSG with SingPass authentication), data ingestion into SharePoint, staff review and two-level approval via Power Apps and Power Automate, and a reporting layer for querying and exporting item status. The developer will also support related urgent automation initiatives, including tender evaluation and documentcentric approval workflows. The developer will work closely with the Lead BA / Solution Architect, HIPD process owners, and other business stakeholders to translate process requirements into robust, auditable, and maintainable solutions, and to produce the documentation and knowledge transfer needed for a clean handover at the end of the engagement. **Role and Responsibilities** - Design, build, test, and deploy automation solutions using Power Apps (canvas and model-driven), Power Automate, and SharePoint. - Develop Power Apps forms and interfaces that surface item details for staff review, comment capture, and approval decisions. - Build Power Automate flows to orchestrate multi-stage workflows, including data ingestion, routing between reviewers, status updates, notifications, and clarification loops with vendors. - Configure and manage SharePoint document libraries and lists as the system of record, including metadata, versioning, and status tracking (e.g., Pending Review, Approved, Rejected). - Integrate submission channels such as FormSG (with SingPass / CorpPass authentication) into downstream SharePoint and Power Automate processing. - Develop reporting interfaces that query SharePoint data and allow filtering by status, date, vendor, and project, with export capability for downstream use. - Implement data-seeding and reconciliation routines to import existing spreadsheet records and identify gaps before go-live, including the use of Copilot to surface items from source systems such as Outlook where applicable. - Support external API integrations for document validation and anomaly checks where required by the use case. - Conduct unit testing, support user acceptance testing (UAT), and resolve defects through to stabilisation. - Produce solution documentation, administrator guides, and knowledge-transfer material, and participate in handover to the customer team at the end of the engagement. - Apply appropriate security, governance, and audit-trail controls throughout, in line with required standards and the compliance drivers behind each use case. - Collaborate with the Lead BA / Solution Architect and business users to refine requirements and ensure solutions are fit for purpose, maintainable, and scalable.**Requirements / Qualifications** **Must Have** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field. - 2–4 years of hands-on experience building solutions on the Microsoft Power Platform. - Demonstrated proficiency in Power Apps (canvas and/or model-driven) for building business applications and forms. - Strong experience developing Power Automate flows, including approvals, conditional branching, and connectors. - Strong working knowledge of SharePoint Online — document libraries, lists, metadata, permissions, and integration with Power Platform. - Experience implementing multi-stage approval and review workflows with status tracking and audit trails. - Familiarity with Dataverse and Power Platform data modelling. - Experience integrating form-based submission channels (e.g., FormSG or similar) and handling structured data files (CSV/Excel). - Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver quickly in a hands-on, timeboxed engagement. - Good documentation and communication skills for working with technical and business stakeholders.**Good to Have** - Robotic Process Automation (RPA) skills using tools such as UiPath or Blue Prism. - Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio for building conversational agents or RAG-based assistants. - Exposure to Power BI for reporting and dashboarding. - Familiarity with SingPass / CorpPass authentication integration. - Experience integrating external APIs for document validation, anomaly detection, or verification. - Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance requirements in a regulated or publicsector environment. - Prior experience in a healthcare, public-sector, or similarly governed setting**What Success Looks Like at PALO IT** - You deliver high-quality, production-grade applications using AI-native practices. - You leverage AI tools effectively while maintaining code quality and best practices. - You contribute to Palo IT's Gen-e2 maturity across projects and teams. - You continuously learn and adapt to the rapidly evolving AI landscape.*We will be prioritizing applicants who have a current right to work in Singapore, and do not require sponsorship of a visa.* **More About PALO IT** We’re eager to adapt to change, learn from our experiences and move to meet our planet’s urgent needs.
