## About the role

##### Mission

Neko is redefining what prevention means, from treating illness when it arrives, to sustaining health before it's ever at risk. Our mission: make data-driven, preventative care accessible to more people, before symptoms appear.

In a single, non-invasive visit under an hour, proprietary technology and direct clinical care combine to deliver personalised, actionable insights. It's a team that thinks in 10x, not 10%. Every role here plays a part in building a world where prevention is the norm, and where your work genuinely helps people live longer, healthier lives.

##### Role Purpose

We're looking for a Senior Accountant to own general ledger accounting for the management company and support the full accounting cycle, from journal entries through financial statement preparation. This role is a strong fit for someone who wants exposure across close, consolidation, and process improvement, and who's comfortable working cross-functionally with Finance, HR, and Operations.

##### What you'll do in the first 6-12 Months

- Perform general ledger accounting for the management company, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals.

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

- Support multi-entity consolidation, including intercompany eliminations and reconciliations.

- Handle day-to-day bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expense allocations.

- Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.

- Maintain bank reconciliations and monitor cash flows.

- Support external audits and tax filings by preparing schedules and documentation.

- Maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, HR, Operations) to ensure accurate reporting of corporate activity.

- Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and implement best practices.

##### Minimum Requirements

- Advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- 4-6 years of experience in corporate or management company accounting, with a background in audit or a related role.

- Experience with multi-entity consolidation and intercompany accounting.

- Strong command of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting standards.

- Proficiency in Business Central, plus advanced Excel skills.

- Curious, ambitious, and eager to work across various finance functions.

- Strong communicator with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

- CPA preferred.
