**About the Job**
We're seeking a detail-oriented Finance Manager with experience in financial planning, reporting, budgeting, and process improvement. The ideal candidate is analytical, proactive, and comfortable working closely with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
 
**Responsibilities**

- Support the Head of Finance in managing the company's day-to-day finance operations and ensuring financial processes run smoothly.

- Lead the month-end closing process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

- Assist with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports, while monitoring performance and highlighting key variances.

- Review contracts and commercial agreements to identify financial risks and ensure alignment with company policies.

- Coordinate tax, compliance, audit, and regulatory activities with external advisors and internal stakeholders.

- Prepare financial analyses and reports to support business planning, operational decisions, and new initiatives.

- Lead or support finance-related projects, including process improvements, system implementations, and automation initiatives.

- Partner with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes, cost tracking, and reporting accuracy.

- Support the Head of Finance on strategic initiatives, ad hoc financial analyses, and other business priorities as required.

 
**Requirements**

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

- 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, or financial reporting.

- Experience supporting US-based finance operations, ideally gained at a Big Four accounting firm (Deloitte, PwC, EY, or KPMG).

- Experience managing the month-end closing process and preparing financial statements.

- Strong understanding of financial controls, compliance, and audit requirements.

- Tech-savvy finance professional with experience using accounting software and advanced Excel for reporting and analysis.

- Highly analytical with strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with changing priorities.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.

- CPA or equivalent professional accounting qualification is a plus.
