## About the role

**Automotive Service Greeter - Honda of Downtown Chicago**

Honda of Downtown Chicago, part of the Murgado Automotive Group, is hiring a friendly, dependable **Automotive Service Greeter** to welcome service customers and help keep our service drive running smoothly. This is a customer-facing role ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, staying organized, and creating a positive first impression.

**Location:** Chicago, IL | **Job Type:** Full-time | **Schedule:** Dealership/service department hours; schedule may include weekdays and Saturdays

**What You’ll Do**

**Greet customers:** Welcome guests as they arrive in the service drive and create a professional, helpful first impression.

**Direct traffic:** Assist with vehicle flow in the service lane and help customers find the right advisor or waiting area.

**Support the service team:** Communicate with service advisors, technicians, and porters to help provide a smooth customer experience.

**Answer basic questions:** Provide clear, friendly assistance and connect customers with the appropriate team member when needed.

**Keep areas organized:** Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming service drive and customer waiting area.

**Represent the dealership:** Demonstrate professionalism, courtesy, and a customer-first attitude every day.

**What We’re Looking For**

**Customer service mindset:** Friendly, patient, and professional with strong communication skills.

**Dependability:** Reliable attendance, punctuality, and the ability to stay focused in a busy service environment.

**Organization:** Ability to multitask, follow directions, and prioritize customer needs.

**Valid driver’s license:** A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required.

**Experience:** Previous customer service, hospitality, retail, or automotive experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
