## About the role

**Start your tech sales career at a high-growth software company in New York or Chicago**

MeritFirst is partnering with fast-growing software companies to hire their next Sales Development Representatives. We're looking for driven, coachable people who want to break into tech sales, or who have a year or two of experience and want to join a company on a real growth curve.

**What you'll do**

- Prospect and book meetings with decision-makers at mid-market and enterprise companies

- Run outbound campaigns across phone, email, and LinkedIn

- Qualify inbound leads and hand off opportunities to Account Executives

- Track activity and pipeline in Salesforce or a similar CRM

- Hit weekly and monthly meeting targets with support from sales leadership**What we're looking for**

- 0–2 years of experience in sales, customer-facing roles, or any competitive environment

- Strong written and verbal communication

- Resilience, curiosity, and comfort hearing "no"

- A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience**Why this role**

- OTE of 70k - 120k

- Promotion paths to Account Executive
