This is a role for a high-craft practitioner who excels at executing complex, high-velocity consumer flows and collaborating closely with cross-functional peers. You will contribute directly to our most impactful sportsbook initiatives, elevate our design quality, and help mentor team members by setting a high bar for product craft. **The Mission** As a key part of this role, you will be the lead designer for our **new sports betting platform** 🎲. This is a rare opportunity to re-envision how the traditional sports industry operates by building crypto-specific products to support these use cases. Think of this as a unique opportunity to completely rebuild the consumer stack using crypto. Many of these will be brand new experiences that will require a designer to push the boundaries of what is possible. Great candidates will be genuinely excited about sports, and a passion for sports betting is a significant plus. You'll bring a basic understanding of crypto and a proven track record of creating best-in-class consumer experiences. This is a unique opportunity to build and shape a design function while staying deeply connected to the craft. Applicants must submit a design portfolio showcasing exceptional hands-on design work and their ability to lead projects. **Responsibilities** - Act as the primary hands-on designer for our sports betting platform, helping translate unique protocol work and novel concepts into intuitive and engaging user experiences. - Define and drive the overall product design vision and strategy for our sports suite, ensuring it aligns with business objectives and user needs. - Lead the design of major features and contribute directly with hands-on work including user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes. - Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering leadership to align on roadmaps, prioritize efforts, and ensure a high-quality, cohesive user experience. - Elevate the team through mentorship, fostering a culture of excellence through direct feedback, design critiques, and sharing best practices in craft. - Establish and refine design processes (e.g., reviews, user research) that fit our fast-paced environment and empower the team to do their best work. - AI-Native Execution: We don't do slow, static Figma sign-offs. We operate completely AI-native, leveraging tools like Cursor and Claude Code to build, test, and ship high-fidelity functional prototypes at extreme velocity**What You Bring** - 6+ years of experience in product design, with a proven track record of operating at a senior level (e.g., Senior, Lead, or Principal) with experience mentoring other designers. - A basic understanding of crypto is required. You should have a foundational grasp of the space (e.g., how wallets or transactions work) and a curiosity to learn how to design for decentralized platforms. - A deep enthusiasm for sports. A genuine passion for sports betting or the mechanics of sports markets is highly desirable. - A compelling portfolio showcasing both exceptional, recent hands-on design work and your ability to lead complex projects.
