As an Electrical Technician (ATEX & Heat Trace Inspections) working with the LotusWorks team, you will join our client site in the Semiconductor sector. This job is based in a cutting-edge facility in Leixlip, Co. Kildare.

In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing commissioning and decommissioning of heat trace systems.

##### Responsibilities:

- Conduct ATEX Inspections on new electrical and mechanical installations and verify correct installation against design documents.

- Conduct ATEX inspections (maintenance) on existing electrical and mechanical installations and complete inspection records for same.

- Generate detailed reports for any issues found and present, along with suggested remediation works, to management.

- Update trackers and generate associated metrics to give a visualisation of progress versus schedule.

- Generation and execution of both commissioning and decommissioning documentation to support new installations or remove existing installations for both ATEX and Heat Trace systems.

- Carry out scheduled maintenance on existing heat trace installations when required.

- Update heat trace panel schedules.

- Support fault-finding activities when required.

- Working in a cross-functional team of skilled Technicians

- Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you in your role.

##### Skills Required:

- Experience completing ATEX inspections is an advantage but not required – Full training will be provided to the successful candidate.

- Excellent PC skills.

- Ability to read electrical/P&ID drawings.

- Ability to remain calm and focused when dealing with multiple tasks.

- Excellent interpersonal skills and self-motivated.

- Must have strong documentation skills.

##### Education / Licenses / Certifications:

- Trade Qualified Electrician with 5+ Years’ experience.

- Proof of education, licenses, and certifications will be required where applicable.
