# Product Manager

**Latent** — San Francisco

Apply: https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/latent/9f1e2942-d911-47b1-a860-3a98e2e4e107

## About Latent

At Latent, we're building medical language models to tackle the trillions of operational overhead weighing down healthcare. Our flagship product streamlines authorizations for life-saving drugs by analyzing EHR records and surfacing the most relevant data.

We've built our product and signed enterprise contracts with some of the largest health systems in the US.

## About the role

#### About Latent

Latent is building the intelligence infrastructure for healthcare. Our clinical AI platform helps health systems streamline medication access by automating complex workflows — prior authorizations, appeals, and 340B compliance. By surfacing relevant clinical evidence from EHR data, we reduce administrative burden and accelerate time-to-therapy for patients.

We recently raised a $60M Series A at a $600M valuation, backed by Conviction, Spark Capital and other leading investors. We 10x'd revenue last year and now work with 40+ of the nation's leading health systems — including Mount Sinai, UCSF, Yale, Ochsner, and Mayo Clinic.

We move fast, operate with high ownership, and build products that directly improve patient care. We're looking for a Product Manager to define and build the next generation of clinical AI products powering healthcare.

#### The Role

As a Product Manager at Latent, you will own critical product initiatives from strategy through execution. Working closely with engineering, design, GTM, and customers, you'll identify the highest-impact problems in healthcare operations and deliver scalable solutions for large health systems.

#### What You'll Do

**Product Strategy & Ownership**

- Define product strategy and roadmap aligned with company goals and customer needs

- Translate ambiguous problems into clear product plans, requirements, and deliverables

- Own product outcomes and metrics for the areas of the platform you lead**Customer Insight & Discovery**

- Work directly with healthcare customers to understand clinical workflows and operational challenges

- Conduct user interviews and synthesize feedback into actionable product insights

- Balance customer input with long-term vision and strategic priorities**Execution & Cross-Functional Leadership**

- Partner with engineering, design, and commercial teams to build and ship products quickly

- Write clear product specs and make trade-offs to unblock development

- Drive projects from concept through launch and iteration**Metrics & Continuous Improvement**

- Define success metrics and run experiments to measure product performance

- Use data and customer feedback to continuously improve features and workflows

#### What We're Looking For

- Product Experience: 5+ years in product management (or equivalent in engineering, product strategy, or a related field) building enterprise SaaS, AI/automation, or complex workflow products

- End-to-End Ownership: Track record of taking a product area from strategy and discovery through launch and measurable outcomes. Experience 0→1 opportunities especially

- Customer Obsession: Skilled at embedding with users, running discovery, and translating insights into practical solutions

- Collaboration: Thrives in cross-functional environments; builds strong working relationships across engineering, design, GTM, and leadership

- Communication: Communicates complex problems and trade-offs clearly to both technical and business audiences

- Technical Fluency: Comfortable digging in with engineering on APIs, integrations, system design, and AI-powered workflows

- Startup Mindset: Comfortable in fast-paced, ambiguous environments — adaptable, high-ownership, and able to maintain momentum through change

#### Nice to Have

- Experience with AI-powered or data-driven products

- Familiarity with healthcare, EHRs, or clinical systems

- Background in startups or high-growth environments

- Experience building products for operational or workflow-driven use cases

- 0-to-1 product development experience

- Comfort with data and developer tooling: SQL, AI coding assistants (e.g., Cursor), and design tools (e.g., FigmaMake)

#### Why Join Latent

- Work on mission-critical problems at the intersection of AI and healthcare

- Ship products that directly improve patient access to life-saving medications

- Partner with leading health systems at a fast-growing company

- High ownership and the opportunity to shape the future of clinical AI
