# Customer Success Manager (NYC)

**Kombo** — New York Office

Apply: https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/kombo/e3a1209e-2e97-43d8-bc61-15f485875a02

## About Kombo

Kombo makes it easy for software companies to offer integrations with HR software. For example, a recruiting company could use our unified API to integrate with the dozens of recruiting systems used by different customers all at once instead of building an integration to each of them.

## About the role

**Location:** New York City Office (Onsite)

**Compensation:** $180K-$220K OTE

**TL;DR**

Hi, I'm Konsti, and I lead CS at Kombo. We're hiring a CSM to own a $3M+ book, drive growth with technical and business customers, and shape how modern customer success runs as we scale. If that's you, let's talk.

#### About Kombo

Kombo is on a mission to power the world's people data, from hire to retire. We're the unified API for HR, payroll, and recruiting systems: our customers connect once and get access to 250+ integrations, instead of spending months building them one by one.

Indeed, Pleo, and Juicebox run their integrations on Kombo, alongside 400+ other teams, syncing data for 250+ million people worldwide.

We're past $12M ARR, backed by $30M+ from YC, Volition Capital, and Acadian Ventures. 60+ people across Berlin and NYC. Take a peek at [the team and how we work](https://app.notion.com/p/Join-Kombo-05435d42f09a4b85b2083ae2266543af?pvs=21).

#### About the role

Customer success at Kombo drives revenue. You'll own the full customer relationship, from onboarding and first value through expansion and renewal, and help customers scale their integrations fast.

Kombo is on track to double revenue in 2026, and we're turning customer success into a true revenue engine. That's where you come in.

This role sits at the intersection of three things:

- Commercial ownership: grow accounts past six figures to power our upmarket motion

- Technical depth: scope new use cases with customers as we launch more products (LMS, payroll)

- Portfolio leverage: run a fast-growing book of business efficiently through segmentation, signals, and AI

#### What you'll do

- Run a book of 60-80 customers worth $3M+ in revenue

- Own the full relationship after the signature: onboarding, first value, and growing customers from there.

- Lead implementations for strategic customers and help them shape the scope, rollout plan, and tech setup.

- Hit your revenue target by building pipeline, qualifying deals, and partnering with Sales on enterprise upsells.

- Coordinate Product, Support, and Sales around your customers so they get results.

- Feed insights to Product. Surface new use cases that unblock customers and drive growth for Kombo.

- Help improve the CS function. Build playbooks, automations, customer content and AI workflows.

#### What we are looking for

- 3+ years in Customer Success, Account Management, or Solutions with a portfolio of 50-200 accounts. HR tech or devtools background is a plus.

- Owned a revenue target and led ROI, pricing, and renewal conversations with executives.

- You will work with engineers. Your first instinct is to find answers in product docs. You can map customer workflows and debug at a high level.

- A habit of segmenting by value and risk, acting on signals, and building repeatable plays.

- Worked at high-growth SaaS, where you learned to move with speed and agency

#### This role is likely not a fit if you…

- Want a remote role or cannot commit to being in the office.

- Need structured processes and aren't comfortable building from scratch.

- Are uncomfortable with commercial conversations: renewals, expansions, negotiation.

- Don't enjoy technical projects: reading docs, debugging, figuring out how integrations work.
