If that sounds like you, we'd love to meet you. ##### What You'll Do This is the role that keeps every batch, every result, and every release held to the standard our consumers trust. As Quality Analyst, you'll report to the Director of Quality and own the hands-on lab work and quality checks across JuneShine Brands' entire portfolio - as we scale production across multiple co-manufacturing partners without cutting corners on quality. ##### Responsibilities: - Own the review and approval of documentation required for finished goods release - Certificates of Analysis (COAs), batch records, and package records - ensuring full compliance with microbiological, organoleptic, packaging, and regulatory specifications - Operate, calibrate, and maintain lab instrumentation (pH meters, autotitrators, NIR spectrometers, CO2/DO analyzers, flow cytometers) to ensure accurate, reliable results - Track and trend quality data across spreadsheets and quality databases, supporting data integrity and early identification of process shifts - Monitor for out-of-trend data and support troubleshooting of quality issues - fermentation delays, out-of-spec analytics, sensory concerns - escalating findings as needed - Execute microbiological testing on in-process and finished materials, including media preparation, equipment sterilization, and microbial identification - Maintain the finished product library to support internal investigations, shelf-life evaluations, and retain sample traceability - Perform benchtop formulations to support ingredient qualifications, quality concessions, and risk assessments, providing data-driven recommendations to cross-functional partners - Contribute to quality optimization projects and continuous improvement initiatives across the Quality Department - Lead investigations in response to Quality Incidents, from root cause analysis through corrective action - Adhere to all SOPs, GMPs, and safety protocols to maintain a compliant, safe work environment ##### Must-Haves: - Age 21 or older at the time of application - College degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field - Minimum of 1 year of professional experience working in a laboratory environment within the Nutraceutical, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical or Food Manufacturing industry - Fundamental understanding of food & beverage manufacturing; including batching processes, in-process quality checks, equipment cleaning, GMPs, etc. - Familiarity with basic experimental design and execution ##### Nice-to-Haves: - Certifications in Food Safety, cGMP, GFSI, Quality Management, or brewing/fermentation program - Familiarity with hemp-derived THC beverage manufacturing and compliance ##### Compensation, Benefits + Perks: **Compensation:** - $30.00 - $33.00 per hour - The final offer will be based on several factors, including experience, skills, location, and overall expertise **Perks + Benefits:** - Paid Time Off - Paid sick leave in accordance with state and local laws - Healthcare coverage: up to 90% company contribution for employees and 25% for dependents - Voluntary vision, dental, and accidental plans - 401(k) with up to 4% company match, free financial coaching, student loan match support, and 529 education savings accounts - 12 weeks of paid Equal Parental Leave, $500 Baby Bonding Bucks, and a sustainable baby gift - Dedicated parental leave support, including a personalized dashboard, full pay transparency, and a specialist to handle every logistical detail so you can focus on your family - Product and soft goods discounts & perks - And more! ********* **JuneShine Brands is a purpose-driven organization composed of a diverse and dynamic group of individuals with varied backgrounds, passions, and beliefs.
