#### About the Role

Are you looking to start your career in HR consultancy and gain exposure to international employment practices? We're looking for an ambitious and organised **HR Consultant Associate** to join our growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate, someone early in their career, or an individual with a strong interest in HR who is looking to develop within a consultancy environment. Working closely with experienced HR Consultants and the Team Lead, you'll support clients across a range of HR, employee benefits, and people administration activities while learning how businesses manage and grow international workforces.

You'll gain hands-on experience supporting organisations operating across multiple countries, helping clients navigate employee benefits, HR administration, onboarding, employment documentation, and international HR best practice.

This is a hybrid position based in Glasgow, requiring a minimum of two office days per week, with opportunities to collaborate with colleagues across Scotland and the wider UK.

#### What You'll Be Doing

As an HR Consultant Associate, you'll support the delivery of HR consultancy services to clients and contribute to a variety of people-related projects. Responsibilities will include:

- Supporting clients with day-to-day HR administration and employee lifecycle activities.

- Assisting with employee benefits administration, including enrolments, changes, renewals, and leavers.

- Preparing employment documentation such as contracts, offer letters, policy updates, payroll change information, and employee records.

- Maintaining accurate HR systems, trackers, templates, and client records.

- Monitoring shared inboxes, coordinating meetings, and ensuring client queries are managed promptly.

- Conducting research on employment legislation, HR practices, and workforce requirements across different countries.

- Assisting with the development and implementation of onboarding, offboarding, and employee experience processes.

- Supporting the preparation of client reports, presentations, policies, and handbooks.

- Providing first-line support for HR queries and escalating more complex matters to senior colleagues.

- Helping manage consultancy projects, maintaining project plans, and tracking client activity through CRM systems.

- Working collaboratively with senior consultants to deliver exceptional client service and build long-term relationships.

#### What We're Looking For

We're looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with a genuine interest in building a career in HR consultancy. Previous HR experience is not essential, as full training and support will be provided.

We're particularly interested in people who are curious, eager to learn, and enjoy working with others. You may be a recent graduate, someone looking to take their first step into HR, or an individual with transferable skills and a passion for people-related work.

To succeed in this role, you'll have:

- A strong interest in HR, people management, employee experience, or business operations.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.

- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

- The ability to research information, analyse findings, and present information clearly.

- Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to learning.

- The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

- Confidence working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.

- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, with the ability to communicate confidently with colleagues and clients.

#### Desirable Qualifications & Experience

While not essential, we'd be particularly interested in candidates who have:

- A degree in HR, Business, Psychology, International Business, Law, or another people-focused discipline.

- A CIPD qualification or an interest in working towards one.

- Experience gained through internships, placements, university projects, volunteering, part-time work, or customer-facing roles.

- Exposure to different cultures, languages, international environments, or global organisations.

- Additional language skills.
