# Chief of staff/GTM to Raphaël Vullierme (Hexa Partner)

**Hexa** · Paris

Apply: https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/hexa/e288ca77-6a5b-4440-a3dd-64dffc9bc5cc

## About Hexa

Hexa helps industrial distributors automate their sales and procurement workflows to quote faster and win more bids.

## About the role

#### About Hexa

Hexa (formerly eFounders) gives entrepreneurs the best chances to build outstanding companies.

We are a pioneering, world-leading startup studio born in Europe that designs, builds and launches category-defining startups. We are today recognized as one of the best venture studios in the world, with a track record comparable to tier-1 VC funds.

We have created 60+ companies (including 3 unicorns) with a combined valuation of over $5 billion, among them Aircall, Spendesk, Front, Swan and Yousign. We are passionate about B2B software, particularly AI-native and agentic SaaS, fintech, climate tech, etc.

Hexa is in full growth mode, with three early-stage activities: our Ventures programs Hexa Start and Hexa Sprint which help entrepreneurs go from zero to one, and a PE program, Hexa Scale, which takes majority stakes in existing startups and pushes them to new thresholds.

#### The AI-native vertical at Hexa: WTF

WTF (“Write The Future”) is Hexa’s AI-native studio vertical, led by Raphaël Vullierme, a repeat founder who built Luko into one of Europe’s best-known insurtechs, was CEO of OpenJet, and started out launching ventures at Rocket Internet. We build AI-native companies with Europe’s best founders, global from day zero, with offices in Paris and San Francisco.

We’re building across three theses: AI as the buyer, European sovereignty in defense and robotics, and Physical AI. This is a rare seat to learn how category-defining companies get built, from the inside, at the frontier of AI.

Two companies are already in market:

- WaniWani builds AI-powered infrastructure that lets financial services players analyze and personalize the offers they show their customers, and sell them directly inside AI assistants. Seed closed, tracking toward several million in ARR within months.

- Pelagon is building a foundational acoustic AI model for autonomous maritime protection, deployed across a distributed network of underwater and surface vectors to give European navies real-time understanding of underwater threats.

#### The mission

We’re looking for a Chief of Staff to be the operational backbone of WTF: right hand to Raphaël and to our founders, bringing an operator’s rigor to fast-moving, still-forming teams. The role splits into two:

#### 80% - company-building operations

Hands-on helping our founders operate their companies across the whole lifecycle, from early discovery and scoping a new idea, through founder search, to building and scaling once it’s live.

- Go-to-market, your main focus: you own GTM for each company: positioning, first customers, pricing, go-to-market experiments, and the tools, automations and trackers needed to run them. Hexa’s central pool covers product and design; GTM sits with you.

- In the operational rhythm of each company: weekly kick-offs, product meetings, end-of-week recaps. You keep the cadence honest, objectives set, notes written, decisions tracked, so nothing that matters gets lost across two or three companies at once.

- The founders’ first port of call on anything outside their own scope, and the interface between the ventures and the rest of Hexa (Finance, Legal, Talent, Comms), pulling in the right resource when a project needs it.

#### 20% - studio operations

How we run as a studio: keeping the machine sharp and the founder pipeline full.

- Scoping new ideas into real opportunities: market sizing, value chain, competitive landscape, positioning, the opportunity note that gets a project greenlit.

- Growing the founder pipeline: working with the Talent team on the sourcing strategy for each new project, organizing events, and making WTF visible to the best potential founders in Europe.

- Building visibility: working with the brand team on Raphaël’s and the studio’s reputation.

- Improving how the studio (and Hexa) runs: sharpening shared workflows, templates and playbooks, and reusable systems that make the studio & Hexa as a whole compound over time.

#### Who we’re looking for.

- 0 to 2 years of experience in go-to-market, growth, operations, consulting, or on a founding team. This is your shot to run things, not assist. How you think matters more than the title on your resume.

- A builder. You’ve been hands-on inside an early-stage startup, or founded something yourself, and you build things: automations, tools, dashboards, experiments.

- A genuine go-to-market appetite: you’re not afraid to reach out cold, and you like the hands-on part of landing the first customers.

- High agency. You’re the person who figures it out and ships, without waiting to be told how.

- Ambitious about company building: you want to be close to how great companies get built, and you bring energy and rigor to it.

- Curious about AI: you use AI tools to move faster and want to get sharper at it.

- Comfortable being in front of people: reaching out to founders, hosting events, representing the studio.

- Working French and English (Hexa runs bilingual and the companies we launch are international from day 0)

#### Recruitment process

- First call with Louise (current GTM lead): introduction to Hexa, WTF, check on cultural fit.

- Interview with Raphaël: mutual introduction, deep dive into the role and how we work.

- Case study: an exercise inspired by our real work.

- Cultural fit interview with Matthieu (CEO) and Camille (VP Talent)

#### What we offer

- 53-56K + 20% "intéressement": 63K-67K total comp

- Direct equity in the studio's companies

- Opportunity to invest in Hexa portfolio startups at a preferential rate

- Swile meal card

- 8 to 12 RTT days per year

- Mobility budget: €500/year for green transportation (bike, metro, electric scooter)

- Health insurance with 50% coverage for you and your family

- 1% Holiday bonus
