## About the role

**Location: South Holland, IL 60473**
**Start Date:** ASAP
**Helper Rate:** $25 per hour

We are seeking a **reliable and flexible helper** to provide occasional support for a client recovering from a **stroke**. The client currently has someone assisting once or twice a week but would like to have an additional caregiver available when needed.

**Care Responsibilities**

- Pick up food and assist with simple errands

- Vacuum and clean floors

- Clean bathrooms

- Dust and tidy the home

- Take out the trash

- Make the client's bed

- Provide general light housekeeping and home organization

**Schedule**

- On-call / as needed

- Approximately 1–2 hours per week

- Days and times are flexible and may vary based on the client's needs

- Client would like the ability to request assistance when needed

**Ideal Candidate**

- Reliable and responsive to short-notice requests

- Comfortable with light housekeeping and simple errands

- Flexible and willing to work varying hours

- Friendly, respectful, and dependable

- Experience supporting clients recovering from a stroke is a plus
