## About the role

#### Job Description

As the **South Island Driver Manager**, you will be responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient operation of BeFresh New Zealand’s last-mile deliveries across the South Island. You will play a pivotal role in hiring, training, and supervising drivers, as well as managing delivery partner compliance and depot operations.

This role is based in **Auckland** (with regional depot travel required) and reports directly to the **Associate Director Fulfilment**.

**You will…**

- Manage driver and contractor onboarding, training programs, and portal management.

- Ensure all drivers are properly licensed, certified, and compliant with delivery standards and regulations.

- Oversee driver allocations, weekly rostering, and shift reporting.

- Monitor driver operations and supervise AM/PM operations where applicable.

- Manage driver incidents, vehicle maintenance, and safety compliance using existing tools and systems.

- Act as the Customer Care liaison overseer for all driver relations.

- Handle error management, asset/device management, and communications with delivery partners.

- Travel periodically to visit regional depots and subcontractor drivers.

- Relationship management experience (recommended).

- Strong leadership, management, and team-building skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

- Knowledge of applicable transportation regulations.

- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
