**Graphcore** · Milpitas, California, United States

Apply: https://job-boards.greenhouse.io/graphcore/jobs/8597792002

## About Graphcore

Graphcore has built a new type of processor for machine intelligence to accelerate machine learning and AI applications for a world of intelligent machines

## About the role

### About Graphcore

Graphcore is a global leader in artificial intelligence computing systems. We design advanced semiconductors and data center hardware that deliver the specialized processing power needed to advance AI while improving the efficiency required for broad adoption.

As part of SoftBank Group, Graphcore belongs to a family of companies developing some of the world's most transformative technologies. Our U.S. operations play an important role in building the future of AI computing.

### The Opportunity

As Supply Chain Manager, you will lead end-to-end supply chain execution, supplier delivery performance, and program operations for critical networking, interconnect, and hardware platforms. You will align demand, material readiness, build plans, factory capacity, and delivery commitments with manufacturing ramp schedules across Graphcore's global operations.

This role combines hands-on execution with strong operational and financial judgment. You will partner with Engineering, Product, Manufacturing, Quality, Finance, Procurement, and external suppliers and integrators to manage complex dependencies, support new product introduction (NPI), and scale reliable supply chain processes.

### What You'll Do

- Lead day-to-day operational engagement and performance management with global component suppliers, contract manufacturers, and rack-level system integrators.

- Manage supplier allocation, material availability, factory readiness, line capacity, build schedules, and final system delivery commitments for laboratory testing, validation, and deployment ramps.

- Aggregate demand signals across Engineering, Product, Manufacturing, and other internal teams to create aligned forecasts, build plans, and target commitments for suppliers and integration sites.

- Drive supply chain readiness and factory ramp execution through NPI milestones, including engineering validation testing (EVT), design validation testing (DVT), and production validation testing (PVT).

- Monitor component and system-level constraints, lead times, shortages, and delivery risks; establish recovery actions, escalation paths, and clear owners to protect program milestones.

- Establish standardized workflows for purchase order placement, open-order tracking, inventory reconciliation, and excess and obsolete (E&O) inventory management using centralized systems and clear buyer ownership.

- Build and maintain operational plans, supplier scorecards, dashboards, budgets, and forecasts that provide clear visibility into delivery, capacity, inventory, cost, and risk.

- Partner with suppliers and internal stakeholders to improve lead times, schedule performance, fulfillment, data accuracy, and overall supply chain efficiency.

- Translate complex operating metrics, financial performance, tradeoffs, and risk assessments into concise executive updates and timely senior-level escalations.

### What You'll Bring

- 7 or more years of relevant experience in supply chain management, supplier operations, procurement, manufacturing operations, or a related field supporting complex hardware products.

- Experience in one or more relevant environments, such as AI infrastructure, data center systems, enterprise hardware, networking, high-performance computing, semiconductors, or similarly complex electronics.

- Direct experience managing contract manufacturers, system integrators, hardware component suppliers, or comparable manufacturing partners.

- Working knowledge of component forecasting and delivery for networking, interconnect, or related hardware, such as network interface cards, switches, cables, connectors, optics, or custom components.

- A demonstrated record of improving delivery schedules and lead times while managing supplier dependencies, material constraints, and operational risks.

- Experience managing substantial budgets, inventory, delivery commitments, supplier performance, and execution across multiple programs or sites.

- Strong analytical and financial acumen, with the ability to translate demand, supply, inventory, cost, and capacity data into clear operating decisions.

- Ability to lead through influence, navigate ambiguity, solve complex operational problems, and align Engineering, Product, Manufacturing, Quality, Finance, and Procurement stakeholders.

- Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present metrics, risks, recovery plans, and recommendations to executive audiences.

- A bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

### Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with rack-level system integration and full-system fulfillment.

- Experience supporting product introductions and manufacturing ramps for advanced computing, networking, or data center hardware.

- Experience with enterprise resource planning, purchasing, order-management, inventory, or supplier-performance systems.

- A master's degree or MBA.

These qualifications are helpful, not mandatory. We encourage you to apply even if you do not meet every preferred qualification.
