## About the role

#### About Us

We are a well-funded, early-stage AI lab focused on building the next generation of frontier multimodal AI models. Founded by former DeepMind researchers, including Andrew Dai, who was previously a leader on Gemini. Our team currently consists of 20 world-class scientists and engineers. We recently raised $55M in seed funding from Striker Ventures, Menlo Ventures, Altimeter Capital, and NVIDIA. We are tackling some of the hardest problems in artificial intelligence, and we are growing fast.

#### About the Role

We are looking for a part-time frontend developer to build and maintain the frontend for our product and marketing surfaces. This is a contractor role, estimated at 10-20 hrs/week, with flexibility to scale based on need.

#### Responsibilities

- Build and maintain frontend components for our website and product surfaces

- Implement responsive, polished UI from design direction or rough specs

- Debug and resolve frontend issues as they arise

- Support ongoing iteration

#### Skills and Qualifications

**Requirements:**

- 3+ years of professional frontend development experience

- Proficiency in React/Next.js

- Strong eye for responsive design and UI polish

- Comfortable working independently with minimal spec**Preferred qualifications (strong candidates may have some, not all):**

- Experience working with early-stage startups

- Familiarity with design tools (Figma) for translating mockups to code

#### Logistics

- Location: This role can be remote or on-site in Palo Alto, California.
