# Operations Associate

**Cota Robotics** · Stockholm

Apply: https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/cotarobotics/42dec164-7339-48f4-afcb-5148e1422f5b

## About the role

Cota Robotics puts robots to work in retail stores. They take on the repetitive, time-consuming jobs like inbounding goods, replenishing shelves and sorting stock, currently mostly overnight. They're driven from our control room in Stockholm and increasingly run on their own. We raised a €1.92M pre-seed in August 2026 and are live with retailers in Sweden and Finland. We're a small team based at Sankt Eriksgatan in Stockholm, where half the office is our own dark store.

#### About the role

Every night, robots run shifts in real stores. Each of those shifts has to be planned, staffed, executed, debriefed, and turned into something better than the shift before it. Someone has to own that system. That's this role. You'll work as the right hand to our Head of Operations, based with the team at our Stockholm office. You'll run store launches, build the operating model that our shift leads and teleoperators work from, and sit in the middle of the loop between customers, the control room, and the engineers building the robot. It's the role with the widest view of how this company actually runs.

#### What you’ll do

- Own the operations playbook: how a store gets launched, how a shift gets run, how a problem gets escalated

- Run store launches end to end, from site prep and install through first shifts and handover

- Build the systems the shift organisation depends on — staffing, checklists, reporting, escalation paths

- Turn what happens on shift into decisions: what engineering fixes next, what changes before the next launch

- Be the operational point of contact for our customers between launches

#### What we’re looking for

- A strong bachelor's or master's, and the analytical instinct that comes with it: you can look at a messy operation and find the structure in it

- High agency: you see the gap and close it without being asked

- Good with people across the range, from a store manager on a busy day to an operator at 3am to an engineer mid-sprint

- Comfortable in a fast-moving, unfinished environment where the plan changes

- Willing to travel to customer stores in Sweden and Finland

- Fluent in English; Swedish is a plus

- You must already have the right to work in Sweden, as unfortunately we're not able to offer visa sponsorship at our current stage

#### Why join

- Work directly with the Head of Operations

- Get broad exposure to launches, deployments, and customer-facing operations

- Help build the processes that make scaling possible

- Take on meaningful responsibility early
