##### About the Role

You'll be a core engineer on a fast-moving team building a SaaS messaging platform, owning features end-to-end from APIs and interfaces to the infrastructure underneath. Reporting directly to the CTO, you'll stay close to customers and leadership and understand the "why" behind every decision.

##### What You'll Do

- Build and ship product across the full stack using React/Next.js, Node.js, TypeScript, and Go, moving fast without sacrificing quality.

- Own features from conception through deployment, with direct visibility into customer needs and business impact.

- Work across every layer of the stack, diving in wherever the work takes you.

- Collaborate closely with a small team where there is no bureaucracy between you and the work.

- Ship code daily while maintaining clean, functional standards and continuously improving your craft.

##### What We're Looking For

- 2+ years of professional software engineering experience building and shipping production systems.

- Proficiency across the full stack: React/Next.js, Node.js, TypeScript, and Go.

- Experience designing, building, or consuming APIs at scale.

- Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, Heroku, or Docker.

- Comfort working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments where priorities shift and you figure things out as you go.

- A belief that speed and quality are not trade-offs, you find ways to deliver both.

- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to continuous learning.

- A collaborative mindset: technically strong and easy to work with.

- Background in startup or early-stage company environments is a plus.

- Familiarity with messaging platforms, telecommunications infrastructure, or communication APIs (SMS, RCS, voice) is a bonus.

##### Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: **$150,000 to $180,000 USD annually.** Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

##### Location

Hybrid, based in Birmingham, Alabama. Candidates in San Francisco, CA or New York, NY will also be considered.
