##### About the Role

This is an in-house SEO lead position at a fast-growing AI-powered business communication SaaS company, owning the full search strategy across both traditional engines and emerging AI-driven results. You will be the first dedicated SEO hire, making this a high-impact, high-autonomy role that directly shapes the company's international growth trajectory, starting in the DACH region.

##### What You'll Do

- Own end-to-end SEO strategy and execution across DACH markets and international expansion.

- Define how pages are built and structured, collaborating closely with website and engineering teams on technical SEO.

- Lead keyword research across both traditional search and AI-generated result formats.

- Commission or write content needed to achieve and maintain top rankings.

- Manage a monthly SEO budget of €20,000 to €30,000, including oversight of external agencies where appropriate.

- Maintain strategic ownership while working with agency partners on execution where beneficial.

##### What We're Looking For

- Proven track record of building SEO at significant scale as a dedicated, full-time responsibility, with clear results to demonstrate.

- 5 to 10 or more years of SEO experience, ideally in a tech or SaaS environment.

- International SEO expertise, including a strong understanding of how to approach and grow markets beyond your home region.

- Fluency in both English and German, required given the DACH market focus.

- Technical SEO experience, including defining page structure and collaborating with engineering teams.

- Hands-on experience with website platforms such as Webflow or similar tools.

- Strong copywriting skills, able to produce or direct high-quality SEO content independently.

- Experience managing meaningful SEO budgets and evaluating agency work.

- Familiarity with AI search and generative answer optimization is a strong plus.

##### Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: **€65,000 to €100,000** annually. Visa sponsorship is available.

##### Location

On-site in **Vienna, Austria**.
