Cambio is the AI-native commercial real estate operations platform, built by investors for investors. Our suite of products automatically collects building data to empower mission critical workflows like capital planning and compliance.

Cambio uses LLMs and agentic AI to reason across thousands of pages of unstructured data, run multi-stepanalyses, and continuously adapt as regulations, assets and market conditions change. With Cambio, investors can evaluate and prioritize retrofit investment opportunities across thousands of buildings at once, compressing months of work into minutes.

We're working with the largest commercial real estate private equity firms globally like Principal Real Estate, Nuveen Real Estate, BGO, LaSalle Investment Management, Oxford Properties Group, Madison International Realty and Beacon Capital Partners. Our founding team collectively has two decades of commercial real estate experience across KKR, Oxford Properties Group, JPMorgan and Goldman Sachs. ## About the role

#### The role

We're looking for an AI Engineer to build AI-powered features, help teammates do their best work, and have fun doing it.

#### What you'll be doing

- Build AI features end-to-end, from prototype to production

- Design and run evals to measure and improve model/feature quality

- Build and maintain data + inference pipelines that power AI features in production

- Experiment with new models, prompting, and retrieval approaches to improve accuracy and cost

- Support and collaborate with your teammates

#### What do you bring

- Experienced in Python web development (Django is a bonus)

- Someone who's shipped AI features and understands the eval challenges that come with them

- Hands-on experience with LLMs/generative AI (prompting, fine-tuning, or RAG)

- Comfortable with evaluation frameworks and measuring model quality in production

- Familiar with vector databases and retrieval-based architectures

- Understands the tradeoffs between model cost, latency, and accuracy
