## About Bild AI

Bild AI automates Division 8 estimating — doors, frames, and hardware — end to end. Bild AI reads blueprints and specs, generates opening (door) schedules automatically, prices the bid, and exports it directly into the ERPs Division 8 shops already run on, including Comsense, Avaware, and ProTech.

Division 8 estimating is the brutal trifecta of nitty-gritty details, where typos cost hundreds of thousands, and timelines are tight. Thousands of pages of specs, hardware sets cross-referenced by hand, and a single missed opening that can sink a bid's margin. Bild  AI collapses days of takeoff into hours, and clients have bid 50% more with smaller estimating teams.

## About the role

We founded Bild AI to tackle the mess that is blueprint reading, cost estimation, and permit applications in construction. It's a really tough technical problem that requires the newest CV and AI approaches, and we’re impact-driven to make it more efficient to build more houses, hospitals, and schools. ##### You’ll

- Own features end-to-end — interview customers every week and watch them use the product, and ship the feature they need by the next week

- Actually use the algorithms, data structures, and system design that you learned

- Revolutionize how people read blueprints today for people who've been doing this on paper. They actually thank us on customer calls and are giddy when we launch new features

- Work across the stack: React frontend, Python backend + infra

- Have ownership on product direction and approach across everything we build

##### We want

- Great product taste — you care about how things look, feel, and work for the user

- 0-to-1 architect and builder who can work across the entire stack

- Comfort talking to customers directly and translating messy domain knowledge into clean product decisions

- Growth mindset, slope > y-intercept
