**Work Arrangement**

This is an onsite position.

**Job Overview**

The Jr. Subcontract Administrator works with the AEVEX team of procurement professionals, in support of DoD programs, to assure compliance with applicable procedures, regulations and legal requirements including FAR/DFARs and International Traffic and Arms Regulations (ITAR). We are seeking a motivated self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment. The Jr. Subcontracts Administrator is responsible for assisting with activities that span the entire procurement cycle, including but not limited to: negotiation of non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) and teaming agreements, preparation of solicitation packages to subcontractors, evaluation of subcontractor proposals, price analysis, negotiation of terms and conditions, subcontract administration, issue resolution, and closeout activities.

This role is ideal for entry-level professionals seeking to build a career in federal contract administration, with opportunities to grow into broader subcontract and contract management responsibilities.

**Essential Functions**

- Assist with the development of subcontract documentation, ensuring compliance with Government and Company requirements

- Assist with administering purchase orders, including change order processing, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and applicable regulations, invoice verification and performance evaluation

- Assist with creating RFP solicitations in accordance with Government and AEVEX requirements, and ensures responses meet all TINA requirements

- Responsible for maintaining accurate PO files per FAR/DFAR requirements and internal processes and procedures

- Responsible for reviewing procurement file documentation and ensuring compliance with regulations

- Assure compliance with applicable procedures, regulations and legal requirements including FAR/DFARS and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

- Perform data entry into contract management system and other automated systems

- Assist subcontractors with company database registration

- Interface with Supply Chain Staff, Production, Engineering, Quality, Logistics, Senior Level Management, Accounts Payable and Contracts

- Communicate effectively and independently with senior management to clearly present approaches and issues

- Perform other duties as required.

**Qualifications and Competencies**

- Familiar with the FAR and standard Contracting references

- Ability and willingness to learn and grow

- Basic understanding of contract law, negotiation techniques, and risk management principles.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Proficiency with contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Basic knowledge of FAR/DFARS

- Basic knowledge of Non Disclosure Agreement (NDA) applicability

- Proficiency in word processing, electronic spreadsheet, analysis techniques.

**Education / Certifications**

- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, contract management, supply chain management, or related field.

- A certificate in one or more of the following areas is a plus:

- Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.)

- Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) designation

- Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution (CLTD) program

- Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) program.

**Experience**

- 2+ years of experience as a Subcontract Administrator in manufacturing environment.

- Experience in the DoD/Federal industry a plus

**Security Clearance**

- Ability to obtain/maintain a Top Secret/SCI DoD clearance, U.S. Citizenship required.
