## About the role

**Overview**

We are seeking a skilled** **Software Engineer to join our software development team. This role sits between the Associate Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer levels, requiring a solid foundation in software engineering principles along with practical experience delivering production-ready applications.

The successful candidate will develop and maintain web applications using React for the front-end, .NET C# Web API for the back-end, and SQL for database management. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality software solutions while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and technical best practices.

**Job Description**

**Duties and Responsibilities:**

- Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using React, .NET C# Web API, and SQL.

- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following established coding standards and best practices.

- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.

- Apply object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, and software engineering best practices.

- Develop and optimize database queries and contribute to database design and performance improvements.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and application issues.

- Collaborate with Product, QA, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.

- Create and maintain technical documentation for applications, APIs, and development processes.

- Contribute to code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

- Develop reusable components and shared functionality to improve development efficiency.

- Support application performance, scalability, and security initiatives.

- Stay current with emerging technologies, development tools, and industry best practices.

**From an accredited college or university in the related field of:**

Bachelor's Degree

Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)

3-5 Years

professional software development experience in a commercial environment.

Strong proficiency in .NET C#, ASP.NET Core/Web API, React, and SQL.

Good understanding of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern web development concepts.

Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.

Strong understanding of Object-oriented programming, Design patterns, Source control (Git), Software development lifecycle (SDLC), Data structures and algorithms, Relational database design and normalization
